The corporation is owned by Ronald J. Woods, a former Michigan industrialist, now a Florida resident. Since his purchase of Palm Beach Media Group in 1991, Mr. Woods has invested heavily in the firm, bringing in extensive business and publishing talent and upgrading both facilities and staff. The results have put Palm Beach Media Group—a profitable and fast-growing privately held corporation—on the map.
